At Biblos you really feel the nostalgia of the Amsterdam of old, not only because of the building which dates from 1712, but also the interior, which has remained the same for 45 years. A truly unique and surreal experience in the Leidsebuurt.

Through the years, our regulars have always brought along license plates from all over the world. Something that started with one license plate belonging to Biblos himself has now morphed into an impressive collection, one that Biblos is quite proud of.

Biblos is a place where everyone is welcome and where both Dutch as well as international guests partake in the laid-back atmosphere every night. It’s an old-fashioned, no-nonsense café, where good times are top priority. Both the bar staff and guests are always up for a chat, so even if you come alone you’ll always have company. We also serve several foreign beers right from the tap.

Since Biblos is open all night, we start slow with music (including videos on the screens) from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Later on in the evening we change gears, get our collective dance on and do shots at the bar.
